A booking is only confirmed when we receive a $250.00 deposit. If the booking date falls 30 days prior to the pick up day, then we will require full payment at the time of booking. Full payment is required 60 days prior to the pick up day.
Yes. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in US Dollars.
Taxes will be automatically calculated and added to your reservation.
We require a valid driver’s license (must be valid until at least the day after drop-off day) for all drivers which must have been in effect for at least two years.
No. However, for translation purposes, an International Driver’s license will ensure ease of use in both the USA and Canada.
The cost per extra mile is $0.40.
As numerous conditions affect gas mileage (wind, hills, speed, driving habits, etc.), fuel consumption will vary according to the conditions. As a rough “rule of thumb”, you could budget about 10 miles/gallon.
You must be at least 21 years old to rent a motorhome and hold a valid driver’s licence issued by your own country. You must have held this license for at least two years.
It may be possible to travel into Canada with your RV. Please enquire at time of booking as to whether your pick-up location will allow this and cost to do so. If this is not possible, note that our sister company CanaDream has vehicles available at seven locations across Canada which can be driven into the USA for a small nightly fee. Note that AmeriDream vehicles cannot be driven to the Yukon, Northwest Territories or Newfoundland at any time.
We regret we are unable to offer pick-up and drop-off between AmeriDream locations and the airport or airport hotels. Please make your own transport arrangements.
Yes. As long as you are picking up and dropping off at the same location, you are welcome to unpack your suitcase in your motorhome and leave it at our rental location. We are happy to store your suitcase until you return. There is no charge for this service.
There is a dash radio/cd player in every motorhome. Most vehicles also have an auxiliary input for mp3 players however we cannot guarantee that the vehicle you receive will have this. We suggest that you bring an FM adaptor if you wish to play your portable mp3 player in the vehicle.
AmeriDream provides you with 24 hour toll-free emergency assistance in the event of a breakdown or accident. One of our technicians will be available to provide you with advice and help.
Sorry, no pets are allowed. A $500.00 minimum charge will apply for cleaning any unit that a pet has traveled in. Guide dogs are an exception to this rule and are permitted.
Yes. We are happy to provide baby seats, child seats and booster seats for our guests for a small fee. During peak season these may be in short supply so we suggest you book these prior to your arrival or bring your own with you. We don’t rent portable cribs, strollers or playpens, however our reservations department may be able to give you the names and phone numbers of companies who can assist with this.
The maximum number of people in each RV is 6. This is determined not by the number of sleeping places in the RV, but by the number of seatbelts. Under American law, every person seated in the vehicle must be wearing a seat belt. The maximum number of seat belts in any of our vehicles is six.
GPS navigation systems may be available from AmeriDream locations, but this cannot be guaranteed. We suggest you check with us at time of booking to find out whether these are available at your chosen pick-up location.
